Our Philosophy

Here at Splash Haven Pools, we strive to treat every client like family. Building pools that will last a lifetime has been and will continue to be our focus every day. 

Our owner, David Knox, has been in the pool business most of his life and has seen it all. He knows the positives and negatives of every type of pool building process. Taking time to meet with and answer questions is an essential part of what we do to keep our clients, both potential and current, informed. Being involved start to finish, David employs a strong customer service focused team behind him that sets Splash Haven Pools apart and is the primary reason you won’t see us utilizing traditional advertising.

Our success and gratitude for client referrals grows daily. To put it into the most basic terms, happy clients mean happy pool company and that’s our goal. Come join our family. 

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a pool cost?
  • Our pools start at $75,000 and a pool/spa combo starts at $85,000. We are honest about not being the cheapest. We do not use the cheapest materials as we know they will need to be replaced sooner rather than later. When choosing tile, coping, and deck products, we encourage you to come to our showroom to choose exactly what you want for your backyard oasis. 

How long does it take to build a pool?
  •  On average 8-12 weeks. While we would love to see everyone swimming in 8 weeks, we must factor in Mother Nature, equipment availability, and our contractors. With many thousands of pools going in around the DFW area all at the same time, our turnaround time is in line with other pool builders. As a small business, we can better plan our builds, keeping our timelines as short as possible. 

Is fence removal and replacement included?
  • Yes! If we need to remove a part of your fence to build the pool, we will reinstall it at no cost to you. This is included in every pool we build.

What about my sprinkler system in my back yard?
  • Unfortunately, most of your sprinkler system will be removed in the process of construction. However, we do reroute your sprinkler system and install it around your pool. This is also included with your pool package.

Which is better, a salt pool or a chlorine pool?
  • Well first of all, a salt pool is a chlorine pool. The salt that is added to the water is converted into chlorine to kill the bacteria. In our professional opinion, we would not recommend a salt system due to the corrosive nature of the salt and its inferior ability to produce the amount of chlorine needed to properly control all forms of algae. We would be happy to talk more about this with you and make sure you are properly informed should you decide to go with a salt water system.
